How to print passport photos at the exact size

At home

Use photo paper and, in the print dialog, choose the right paper size and 100% scale or “actual size”. If the printer offers “borderless”, turn it off: it can enlarge the image and cut off the margins.

In a shop or at a photo kiosk

Bring the downloaded file on your phone or a USB stick and ask for a 10 × 15 cm print. Tell them not to crop or resize the image.

Check the size

Before cutting, measure one photo with a ruler: for the Spanish DNI and the Spanish passport it must be 26 mm wide and 32 mm tall. If you don’t have the photo yet, we explain how to take a passport photo at home with your phone.
