1. The service

Foto Carnet Ya (fotocarnetya.com) is an online tool for preparing passport and ID photos for the Spanish DNI, the Spanish passport and documents from other countries. It is a private, independent service: we are not a government body and are not affiliated with the Spanish National Police, the Ministry of the Interior, any embassy or any consulate.

• Free: crop a photo to the document’s size and lay out a sheet to print. It doesn’t change the background or check the photo.
• Checked photo (paid): we check framing, head size, background, lighting and sharpness and, when needed, prepare the photo with a white background. You see a watermarked preview before you pay.

2. Acceptable use

You may only upload photos of yourself or of people who have authorised you (for example, your children under 18). Don’t upload photos of others without permission, images altered to impersonate someone, or content that isn’t an ID photo. We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these terms.

3. Price and payment

Payment is one-off, with no subscription or later charges: Standard plan €7.99 or Premium plan €10.99. The charge and the invoice are handled by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record; you’ll see the final amount, including any applicable taxes, before you confirm.

4. Delivery and downloads

Once the payment is confirmed we prepare the photo without a watermark and the print sheet, show them to you for download and email you a copy. You can download them again for 24 hours on the Standard plan and for 7 days on Premium, counted from payment. After that the files are deleted automatically; keep your copy.

5. Premium plan

In addition to the above, a person on our team reviews your photo within 3 hours of purchase and emails you if anything needs changing; it includes a printable check certificate and priority email support.

6. Photo acceptance

We adjust the photo to the size and rules published by each authority and check it automatically, but whether it is accepted is always decided by the office processing the document. That is why we don’t guarantee acceptance; if it’s rejected for not meeting the requirements, we refund your money under the refund policy (within 30 days of purchase).

8. Changes and contact
